Peard Excavation was founded in 2016 by Toby Peard, starting with a single 5T excavator and a mission to provide better, more dependable service. Today, alongside partner Holly Turner, the business has grown into a respected operation, offering end-to-end site solutions with a personal, owner-operated touch.
Together, Toby and Holly bring over 30 years of combined excavation and engineering experience. That means there’s not much we haven’t seen, or solved.

Mariano brings fresh energy to the team with a keen eye for media and a growing skillset on the machines. He manages our photos, videos, and online content — capturing the work we do and showcasing it the right way. On site, he’s a junior operator who’s eager to learn and constantly improving. Mariano is fast becoming a real asset to the crew.
Kane
Senior Operator
Kane is the newest member of the Peard Excavation crew, bringing a strong background in civil construction with a focus on rural slip repair work. With practical know-how and a can-do attitude, Kane is already proving to be a valuable addition to the team. He’s keen to get stuck in and always up for a challenge.

Hayley joins us with solid experience from one of the big civil companies, and she brings that same high standard and leadership with her. She’s a boss in every sense — confident, capable, and not afraid to take charge when it counts. With her industry knowledge and no-nonsense approach, Hayley strengthens the team and lifts the bar on how we operate.
